Re: Mdl models with transparent textures?

Well, I tried all the available flags, they have various efects, mostly particles. Here is the list I saved back then. It may not be precise, but it can give you rough overview. 00000010 - red particles, two rows diverging 00000020 - red particles, falling in row 00000040 - like 00000010, only brown...

Re: Mdl models with transparent textures?

Your're welcome. I just checked the models with transparency and used the same flag. It worked :D

Re: Mdl models with transparent textures?

It took me some time to figure out transparency as well. Easiest way would be opening the model in QME and then: View > Model Properties > Flags > By Number and check 0x00004000 flag (second column, second from the bottom), which sets the transparency. All the transparent parts of the texture need t...

Re: Standalone map: Shifting Sands

So I was testing the maulotaur a bit more and found a strange bug. It was tested right within this mod, so there may have been updates since the release. I put 3 maulotaurs into an arena and after some time of running around, they become leaned to the side as you can see in the video. https://youtu....

Pushable brush behaviour

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Po1lKf-5dhs As you can see in the video, pushable brushes act quite oddly. At the certain points of the room/map the push slows down. When you try to push the brush back, it accelerates at the same point. Like if it suddenly lost most of its weight. I tried to reprod...

Re: Standalone map: Shifting Sands

Looking forward to your other work as well. Is the code for the new entities available? I could surely find some use for them.

Re: Standalone map: Shifting Sands

Really enjoyed the map! Challenging and balanced, with just about right amount of ammo and articafts. Is there going be any continuation? I would welcome the entire hub of this :D Though sadly, there was no Maulotaur, nor Reiver to be found. These are actually two enemy types I wanted to see in Hexe...

Re: Fall damage

Yes, well, I use the trigger_hurt in the pits, etc... However, you can't use it in playable area. Example: I have a castle on the cliff. You start the map under the cliff, so obviously I cannot put the trigger_hurt there. When you fall from the castle or the cliff, you are supposed to kill yourself,...
